About GATE
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India entrance examination conducted by The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT’s) jointly conduct the GATE every year. It is the qualifying entrance examination, which is conducted for admission to postgraduate (PG) courses i.e. M.E, M.Tech, PhD in IISc and IITs.
GATEÂ 2022 is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and six other Indian Institutes of Technology at Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Chennai, Roorkee & Indian Institute of Science at Bengaluru on behalf of the National Coordination Board.
